Sorry for the delay in writing my blog. I just got the new website up. It is MerlinEmbroidery.com. You should defiantly check it out. We have been working on a huge 6,000 piece order for a Catholic School. I can't say which one cause they went through someone else. If you get an embroidery job done in San Diego or El Cajon there is a very good chance that we are doing it, no matter where you take it. So you might as well skip the middle man and take your embroidery job to us.

The ordering procedure at Merlin Embroidery goes something like this: If you have a logo, bring it in as a jpg, psd, ai,or pdf file. If not, come on in and our graphic designer will work with you to create the perfect logo for your business. You can also send it in a email to merlinemb@gmail.com.
Once you have your logo, pick something out of our many catalogs or buy your own cloths and bring them in. After you have talked to Kevin about the size and stitch count of your order, he will give you a very reasonable quote. If you want to proceed, we will start your order and you will have it back between 5 and 7 working days. If you need it in a hurry, rush service is always available.

The new site is almost up!
Hello Everyone,
It has been an interesting couple of weeks. Sorry I haven't written in a few weeks. I have been learning more of the shop. Have have learned how to load a design, hoop hats, and how to embroider puff embroidery. That is the embroidery (usually on hats) that puffs out a little. It is a very interesting process. For those of you that are new to this blog, my name is Anthony Stuart. I am the graphic designer/ I.T. Guy here at Merlin Embroidery. I have been an artist my whole life, but actually started to go to school for graphic design only about a year ago. I will have my associates in graphic design in about two months. Then I will then proceed into the bachelor program for 3D animation or web design, I haven't decided.
I really like Merlin Embroidery and don't plan on leaving any time soon. Kevin, Jeremy and all the of the employees here are beyond nice. They will go out of their way to make you as happy as possible. We don't try to cheat or get anything over on the customer. We believe in honesty and quality here at Merlin and that is something all of us here practice in every aspect of our lives. Anything that should be given through Love can not be gained any other way.
The new website is almost done. We are just working out the last few kinks. It should be up and running by the end of next week so look for it. It will be at merlinembroidery.com. There is only a landing page there now, but keep your eyes open cause it will be coming your way soon.

I hope you all are having a wonderful week. Over here at Merlin Embroidery we are having a very busy week. We have had all kinds of orders. Plus we are remodeling our website and exploring new ways to expand our SEO and SEM. We attended a seminar on Tuesday for Chamber Zoom. It is a new software provided by San Diego Chamber of Commerce. It is a media management system that allows you to manage your email, contacts, blog, twitter and Facebook. It also allows you to do some email marketing with mass email sending. This is a very useful program and is free with membership.
We do much more than make money here at Merlin Embroidery. We make new friends and business associates with every new customer that puts in an order. We learn something new just about everyday and we teach interns the screen-printing and embroidery business. Though we would like to say money doesn't play a big role here, we would be lying. It does play a significant roll because we would have neither materials nor employees without it, but we try to not let it control our thoughts or emotions. Sorry the blog is so late this week. I have been really busy designing the new web page and finding new ways to improve our SEO. We recently contracted with Reach Local who is going to handle our SEM. They will be putting a beautiful ad for our business on the side of the google search results when you search for something relevant. I designed three compositions that will rotate. It sounds pretty promising, I will let you know how it turns out. It is also really nice to have the ear of Bob Phillips from Reach Local, not only is he helping with our SEM but has also suggested some good ways to improve our SEO, such as the like button at the top of the page. We appreciate all the help Bob.
We are all working hard here at Merlin Embroidery to bring you the best quality product for the cheapest price. We don't claim to be the cheapest embroidery/print shop in town. However, we will bring you the best deal. If you want it cheap then you are free to go somewhere cheap. If you want the best quality product for the lowest price possible then we are the place for you. This was a memorable weekend with the death of Osama Bin Laden. It has taken over 10 years to catch this over zealous megalomaniac. Due to his wealth and the mutual hatred of America in the region where he was hiding, he was able to evade arrest since he masterminded the terrorist bombing of the Trade Center Twin Towers on September 11, 2001.
We at Merlin Embroidery take no pleasure from the death of any human being. However we are relieved that we no longer have to fear attacks from him, and now we maybe able to start healing from that terrible incident that happened on 9/11.

We are never content at Merlin Embroidery
Hello Everyone,
I hope your week is going well. I was thinking about it, and I think we as a human species are never content. This in turn makes us constantly try to improve ourselves and our surroundings. I believe this is a necessary God given attribute to help us survive in this world. If you become content, you become docile and unmotivated. We work to live. If you stop working, and just lay around you will die.
Now, I'm not saying work your fingers to the bone and never take a break. I'm just saying, try to stay busy, not only will it keep you out of trouble, but it just might keep you alive. Here at Merlin Embroidery we love to stay busy. Not only does it keep us alive, but it makes the time go faster too. We are always kinda busy embroidering, but if there is a lull in the action we begin cleaning. We really don't like cleaning so bring your embroidery or silk screening order in today. We will have it back to you in about 4 days or less. If you need it faster than that, rush service is available. If you opt for that one we will work all night for you and have it ready in the morning.

Embroidery is like running a marathon. You can't stop until its finished.
Hello Everyone,
It is a lovely day in beautiful San Diego. I had a relaxing weekend I hope yours was just as wonderful. Lets talk about embroidery for a while. Electronic Embroidery, like many thing in life, can't be stopped in the middle of a run. You have to just keep going til your done. Embroidery machine can be stopped periodically to fix thread breaks and other machine problems, but any run should try to be completed in one sitting. If you take it out of the hoop before it is finished you can forget it. You will never be able to re-hoop it exactly right, unless you are a veteran embroiderer with years and year of experience. That is how I do most things in my life, all in one sitting. I try not to procrastinate because you never know what might happen tomorrow.

Its Good To Be Back!
Hello Everyone,
Its good to be back. I don't know if you all missed us, but we sure did miss all of you. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We are slowly getting back up to the level of production we were at before the holiday vacation. However we are not there yet. We still have plenty of room for your order of shirts, hats, sweaters, hoodies and hooded sweaters, polo's. We have a wide selection to choose from so bring your order in today. If you have a design, logo or text that you want to put on a any piece of clothing, bring it in. If you have an Idea for a logo or design, bring it in. We have an in house graphic designer who will be able to help you with all your design needs.
We are conveniently located at 8240 Parkway Dr. # 103/104 in La Mesa, across from Cost Co. We have more than 30 embroidery machines to better serve your needs than anyone in the entire San Diego area. We silk-screen t- shirts, silk-screen sweaters, silk-screen hats, silk-screen hoodies.
